The first unit of Mesogeios Dialysis clinics network was inaugurated at Heraklion Crete in 2000, at a wonderful location close to the seaside resort of Ammoudara and welcomes approximately 700 renal patients annually from all over the world at its ultra-modern facilities.

With a capacity of 180 patients this ISO certified dialysis clinic lies on an 8,000 sq m. private site and is surrounded by a lush garden with swimming pool, a unique environment both for dialysis patients and their carers.

With the aim to improve the quality of life for renal patients in a safe and effective way, the dialysis clinic Mesogeios has been equipped with advanced technology dialysis equipment, including Fresenius medical care machines, and a plethora of high standard amenities. This way, renal patients visiting the unit receive superior quality health services in a friendly environment and feel absolutely relaxed with all the amenities provided.

The experienced medical and nursing staff are always there to assist you throughout your dialysis treatment by offering all the care and attention you need. At first glance, the clinic looks like a 5-star hotel with a swimming pool. The interior is equally elegant, right from the reception desk. The chairs are very comfortable, the view through the windows is beautiful, and the care is top-notch. The patient feels very safe and well-cared for. The staff checks the parameters several times during dialysis, adjusting them to the patient's current condition. The doctor comes once an hour and asks if everything is okay and if anything is needed. During dialysis, breakfast is served, including toast and tea/coffee upon request.
I was very impressed with the welcome; I received a gift and a welcome letter. After completing the three-stage dialysis session, I received a thank-you letter and a complete set of medical records.
Transportation was by taxi, which picked me up on time from the hotel and from the clinic after dialysis.
There was no weakness throughout. Everything was top-notch.
I will definitely use this clinic again.

Well equipped clinic situated in a beautiful location and gorgeous territory. It's not often you see a villa on top of the mountainous area with a beautiful view and a swimming pool - that's the dialysis clinic. The staff were friendly and always checked with me if I understand stuff and if I'm feeling OK. Recommended!
