MUCARIA is a modern healthcare facility specializing in haemodialysis treatments. It is located in Valderice, a picturesque town nestled in the hills just 15–20 minutes from the city center of Trapani, in Western Sicily, only 8 km from the seaside. 

Our clinic has been operating since 1975, as the first dialysis center in Western Sicily, and for over 10 years we have specialized in Holiday Dialysis, welcoming international patients and ensuring continuity of care during their travels.

It was completely renovated in 2019 and it is offering functional, and welcoming environments. The facility is equipped with Fresenius 5008 machines and electronic scale beds, along with personal TVs and headphones to ensure patient comfort. It has 32 kidney places, including 2 AU+. It is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities.

The center is directed by Dr. Filippo Mucaria and benefits from the valuable collaboration of Dr. Fabrizia Scarlata, a cardiologist with over 30 years of experience.

Our multilingual staff speaks: Italian, English, German, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Romanian, French, Spanish, and Russian — making communication easy and welcoming for all.

We ensure a smooth transition from your home clinic to our center by assisting with all necessary documentation, including the EHIC/GHIC card, medical forms, lab markers, and personal ID.

Additionally, the facility is affiliated with a multispecialty outpatient clinic offering over 15 medical specialties, providing patients with comprehensive and integrated care.
