Excellent – good humour and spoke English.
Clinic Cleanliness
An old building (say 40yrs), well used, but clean – no complaints on hygiene. Virtually no patient parking, but public transport good.
Facilities and Equipment
State of the art dialysis machines (Nipro in this case). Wards arranged into bays of three.
NB Whilst everything ‘standard’ provided, I strongly recommend that patients take needles – in my case I am used to a certain make/gauge/length – and dialysers, if patients use anything non-standard. My NHS unit willingly supplied ‘special to me’ items and a covering letter to allow these through security and onto aircraft. Also, I have a skin allergy and took my own adhesive tape so as to cause minimum irritation. Diaverum were more than happy to use what I had brought.
Overall Experience
Could not fault any part. Will certainly use again. I do recommend clinics operated by Diaverum on the basis of my experience with this clinic.
