Darlington Dialysis Centre opened in 1994 as a nurse-led satellite facility, and became a Diaverum clinic in 2011. Diaverum operates the 18-station Unit in partnership with South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, providing high quality life enhancing renal care to NHS patients in the local area as well as holiday patients.
All stations are equipped with individual TV screens for patient entertainment during dialysis. For the convenience of our patients, we offer free Wi-Fi as well as complimentary patient parking and accessible facilities. You will be served light refreshment while on dialysis. However, you are free to bring your own snack. We play light games including quizzes and bingo, and celebrate important dates and social events including birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, charity, seasonal and national events with patients.
Darlington Dialysis Centre is open Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sunday, Christmas, New Year Days and Easter.
Please be aware that the Dialysis Centre is a no-smoking dialysis facility. You are not permitted to smoke or use e-cigarettes on Diaverum property.
