Rotherham Dialysis Unit opened in June 2009. The 20-station dialysis unit is a modern purpose-built nurse-led facility in the grounds of Rotherham District General Hospital. We operate the service in partnership with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, serving NHS patients as well as holiday patients. The Unit is accessible and equipped with a spacious waiting area, individual TV screens, free Wi-Fi and patient parking.

You will be served light refreshment while on dialysis. However, you are free to bring your own snack. We play light games and celebrate important dates and social events including birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, charity, seasonal and national events with patients. Reading materials are also available in the clinic.

Rotherham Dialysis Unit is open Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sunday, Christmas and New Year Days. Good road and rail links ensure easy access to the Unit.

Please be aware that the Dialysis Centre is a no-smoking dialysis facility. You are not permitted to smoke or use e-cigarettes on Diaverum property.
