Diaverum took over the management of the North Ormesby Dialysis Centre on Monday 25 April 2022, on behalf of the South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The unit has been updated to ensure patients receive treatment in a modern  and comfortable facility. The 20-station Unit is nurse-led and equipped with accessible facilities, individual TV screens as well as free patient Wi-Fi for patients’ entertainment during dialysis.

Patients are  served light refreshment while on dialysis, and they are free to bring your own snack as well. There are regular light games and celebrations round the year including birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, charity, seasonal and national events with patients.

North Ormesby Dialysis Unit is accessible, with good transport links. The Unit is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 07:00 - 22:30 and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 07:00 to 18:30 hours, and closed on Sunday, Christmas and New Year Days.
Please be aware that the Unit is a no-smoking dialysis facility. Smoking is not permitted on Diaverum property, and this includes e-cigarettes.

Booking your holiday dialysis at this clinic makes you eligible for Diaverum's d.HOLIDAY Fly Back Programme (special terms apply, learn more in https://d.holiday/en/diaverum-d-holiday-fly-back-programme). This programme facilitates and funds safe & fast returns home for dialysis patients on a transplant list who receive their transplant call while travelling.
