At Diaverum Saldanha Clinic, we strive every day to make a difference in the lives of our patients by providing excellent kidney care, based on the highest standards of medical quality. We have a Holiday Dialysis Program that allows patients, who wish to travel, to do so with complete confidence, either in Portugal or in the rest of the world.
We are therefore ready to receive you and do your recurring treatments, while you enjoy your vacation.
The Diaverum Saldanha clinic that has 48 stations was opened in 1981.
Booking your holiday dialysis at this clinic makes you eligible for Diaverum's d.HOLIDAY Fly Back Programme (special terms apply, learn more in https://d.holiday/en/diaverum-d-holiday-fly-back-programme). This programme facilitates and funds safe & fast returns home for dialysis patients on a transplant list who receive their transplant call while travelling.

Staff is very friendly, the free snack was a pleasant surprise, the assisting nurse speaks english. Also the price is value for money!
This was my first dialysis treatment while travelling outside my home country. I was a little nervous initially but the facilities at the Lisbon clinic were excellent, staff well trained and caring. I had a four hour session and it went perfectly well. Now I feel more confident in travel dialysis. They even served me a light dinner.
Very modern and technologically advanced clinic (the best I've been to). The facility is spacious, well organized, and clearly up to date. Making a reservation was simple, and the email communication was quick, clear, and efficient.
I am a patient from the US, where sterile standards are extremely strict. One small observation was that I did not notice hand washing between patient interactions. I share this purely as constructive feedback, as standards and routines vary between countries.
