When I first entered the building—albeit slightly late—I was pleasantly surprised. Despite being about 1,000 km from home, I felt right at ease. The nurses showed me to the station where I was to undergo dialysis, and the first thing that caught my eye was the information packet—prepared using the documents I had submitted with my initial form. There was absolutely no need to ask questions or go searching for information. All three dialysis sessions I had during my vacation at Diaverum Centro Rene di Bari went really well.
